ON Brings AI Chat to UBS Arena

After a full season of providing conversational experiences for the New York Islanders, we’re excited to expand our partnership to include the team’s home stadium, UBS Arena. With their new, AI-powered chat experience serving as a virtual concierge for hockey fans and concertgoers, UBS Arena and the Islanders are providing in-depth digital support across the entire fan journey. 

The Islanders and UBS Arena join the growing list of ON partners who have added venue-specific functionality to their chat experience – including the Milwaukee Bucks & Fiserv Forum, the Houston Rockets & Toyota Center, the Las Vegas Raiders & Allegiant Stadium, and the Charlotte Hornets & Spectrum Center.

The arena’s new chat solution engages with fans through the UBS Arena website and mobile app, providing hockey fans and concertgoers with a guide through their event or game-day journey. Fans who ask about upcoming events at UBS Arena are instantly sent pricing details and ticketing information, while someone who simply wants to know where they can get chicken fingers has instant access to that information too. It’s a resource built with every fan in mind, and one that is capable of handling the vast scope of event-day questions the arena staff are used to fielding.

The addition of ON’s chat experience to the UBS Arena website and app comes amid a Summer and Fall concert series that will see hundreds of thousands of concertgoers enter the turnstiles to see John Mayer, The Eagles, Aerosmith, Chris Stapleton, and many others sell out the venue. 

With this busy summer schedule leading directly into the first drop of the puck of the NHL season in October, the Islanders and UBS Arena are taking advantage of the opportunity to use emerging AI chat technology to improve the experience of attending a game or event in their facility.
